After a hard fought set of races it was time to let our hair down, we had a choice of either some good old fashioned dad dancing or hit the alcohol, can you guess which Andy went for? no prizes for guessing the answer……….
There were four trophy’s up for grabs again this year Ladies, Men’s, Mixed and Overall Boat with honours being shared between Mahala, Record Reign and Vanduara. Results for the top two positions who all were rewarded with a trophy are as follows:-

Once the formalities were over it was back to the fun side and of course there were some very keen Dancers some who decided they could put the “MAD” back into Madness and did quite a good job “surprisingly without embarrassing themselves” YEAH YEAH
As time wore on Colin made his play and disappeared for a while with his harem, his excuse “come and look at MY TROPHY girls”. I don’t think they were to impressed though as best he could offer was a selfie in the corridor.
When we told Cheryl what he was up to you could see the worry on her face!

For a first attempt for our awards night, it was a great night, around 110 people supported the event which is an excellent turnout and I believe that everyone had a good time; the flowers for Nina were well deserved but she’s got a lot to live up to next year “no pressure there then”
